G M Fahim Mugdho

7+ Years of experience in multiple roles in acclaimed startups in different industries (Printing/Packaging, Marketing Communication, Fintech, Research); I am privileged to develop diverse skillsets, and unique perspectives; and have developed myself into an expert in the respective fields. By working with SMEs, NGOs, and Governments for different products, I have acquired insights into many domains, industry realities, and effective solutions. During my academic life at the University of Dhaka (QS Ranking 550-600), I struggled with balancing the curriculum and my thrust to express impactful ideas to the world. My interest and conviction were rewarded in different prestigious global competitions like Rice Business Plan Completion, Dell Social Innovation Challenge, and so on. I am also a strong advocate for Animal Rights, Climate Action, and SDGs and am involved in multiple organizations which addressed these pressing issues.

The beginning of my professional career is tributed to the entrepreneurial spirit of innovation in different industries through my own startups. As my professional experience progressed over the years, I realized that solutions are incomplete without the grace of a data ecosystem. That is why I have started to find immense interest in the world of Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Currently, I am trying to get into impactful companies where I can make a change in the economy through collaborative team effort and shared knowledge.

Rubik Print

Chief Marketing Officer

As the Chief Marketing Officer for Rubik Print, I manage the entire employee base to ensure consistency with short-term and long-term sustainable business objectives

Highlights:
• Developed IT-Enabled Infrastructure (by coordinating a team of 3 full-stack software engineers) to make Rubik Print as Country’s first “Printing-as-a-service” business.
• Developed dynamic and automated pricing module (initially in Google Sheets, Later in AppSheet) which reduces 90% waiting time in complex multilayered pricing quotation
• Developed integrated data ecosystem which reduced production error by ~ 15% and reduced latency in ETA by 48% to more than 27,000 orders over 3 years.

Babooi

Chief Operating Officer

As the Head of Research for Babooi, I provide guidelines to a team of 11 executives in content, strategy, and execution consistent with current industry trends, feasibility analysis, and customer persona analysis.

Highlights:
• Developed Integrated Marketing Strategy for Halda Valley which became the most prestigious premium tea brand in Bangladesh.

Head of Digital Marketing

As Head of Digital Marketing, I was responsible for leading a team of 3 executives to plan, execute, and curate the firm’s and its clients’ online marketing strategies.

Highlights
• Co-founded Bangladesh’s first successful SME Branding Firm in Bangladesh and collaborated with 40+ clients while ensuring on average ~35% margin surplus than the projected ROI
• Developed Integrated Marketing Campaigns for 40+ clients related to 7+ Industries (Retail, FMCG, Healthcare, Fashion, FinTech, Service); which gained 10-35% growth in terms of revenue within 6 months of campaigns (e.g. Halda Valley, Styline Collection, SmartKompare)
• Developed Branding Strategy for the Country’s first On-Demand Rental Car Platform (the equivalent of Uber) in Bangladesh named Chalo Car which addressed the untapped and unexplored market and paved the way for the gig economy in Bangladesh by generating around 1.2 million organic engagements overall in 12 months of marketing campaign.

We participated in the 2014 Global Student Startup Competition held in RICE University in Houston, Texas. It was the biggest event of its kind that year. We were invited to showcase our innovative solutions for sustainable and ecofriendly packaging. Our team which represented Bangladesh, “Greenback”, made it to the final round of the competition.

As a member of “Roshnee Revolution”, I participated in the Dell Social Innovation Challenge Competition in 2013. This was a prestigious student competition hosted by Dell Inc. Our team proposed a grid-free light bulb that could enable education in impoverished areas of the world. Out of around a thousand contested teams worldwide, we made it to the top 10 (semi-final round).
